About the author
Abigail Ekue is the author of The Darker Side of Lust, an erotic short story collection currently in its 2nd edition. She has also penned the standalone story ,"Tinder Block". Her work short story, “Cigarro Tarde”, is published in Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 2 and a selection from The Darker Side of Lust is included in Hot to the Touch: Views from the Polyamory Lifestyle, both published my Cleis Press. Her interest in the “body-ologies” and subcultures fuels her character-driven writing.
She has shared her insight on sex, relationships, writing and creativity and body image on various media outlets including Maxim Magazine, SiriusXM, Cosmopolitan, VICE, The Frisky, Bustle, New York Post, Clutch Magazine, SheKnows, and New York Spirit Magazine.
Ekue has participated in numerous literary events and showcases as performer, producer and curator in New York, Jersey City and Washington DC.
As a result of her fiction writing, Abigail Ekue was recognized as one of the creative luminaries featured in Everup's 30 Days of Creativity sponsored by Microsoft.
